Irwin bonuses: a field guide to the terms

This section works like a reference shelf. Each bonus type has its own page, and every page answers one question: what has to happen before bonus money becomes ordinary money you can withdraw? We do not publish Irwin's actual percentages or amounts, because the operator sets and changes them. Every number below is an illustrative example, not an Irwin term.

The order to read any set of bonus rules

Promotion terms are almost always built from the same blocks. Read them in this order and judging an offer takes about ten minutes.

  1. Eligibility. New or existing players, minimum qualifying deposit, payment methods that do not qualify.
  2. Wagering. The multiplier and its base: the bonus alone, or deposit plus bonus.
  3. Game weighting. Which game types count in full, which count partly, which not at all.
  4. Maximum bet. The cap per spin or round while the bonus is active.
  5. Deadlines. Time to activate and time to finish the turnover.
  6. Withdrawals. Any cash-out ceiling, and what happens if you request a payout before wagering is done.

A quick comparison of two offers

Suppose you plan to deposit €60. Offer A is 150% up to €150 with 45x wagering on deposit plus bonus. Offer B is 25% up to €100 with 15x on the bonus only. A credits €90 of bonus and asks for €6,750 of bets; B credits €15 and asks for €225 (illustrative example, not an Irwin term). On slots that keep about 4% of every stake over the long run, A's turnover is expected to cost around €270 — three times the bonus — while B's costs around €9 against €15. The flashy offer is the expensive one; the dull one actually leaves something on the table for you.

Run this check on any promotion before you accept it. If you cannot find the base of the multiplier in the terms, ask support to state it in writing; if they cannot, assume the less favourable reading.

The general rules that sit behind every promotion

Besides the terms of a single promotion, operators usually publish a general bonus policy. That is where the clauses live that never make it onto a banner: one bonus per person, household or device; the operator's right to cancel a bonus if it suspects abuse; mandatory ID checks before a payout. We walk through such a document on the general bonus terms page, and the mechanics of turnover on the wagering page.

Seasonal and personal offers

Holiday promotions, tournaments and personal emails with an "exclusive" bonus follow the same logic as permanent offers, but their deadlines are often shorter. If a bonus arrives by email or push notification, open its full terms inside your account: the message itself rarely states the multiplier or the game list. And remember that a personal offer after a break from playing is marketing, not a reason to come back.

Bonus questions

Which guide should I read first if bonuses are new to me?
Start with wagering requirements. Once you can turn a multiplier into a turnover figure in euros, every other set of rules — welcome offers, free spins, cashback — becomes much easier to judge.
Can I run two bonuses at the same time?
Usually not. Most bonus terms contain a 'one active bonus' rule: a new bonus either waits in a queue or is not credited until the current one is finished. Check how the operator handles this in its general bonus terms.
Why don't you list Irwin's bonus percentages and amounts?
Because the operator sets them and can change them on any day. We give a method and examples on made-up numbers so you can assess the live offer yourself instead of relying on a stale table.
What should I do if a promotion's rules are unclear?
Save a screenshot of the terms at the moment you activate the bonus and ask the operator's support in writing. A written reply in chat or by email is useful evidence if a payout is disputed later.
